KKE Architects Wins Four Awards including "Building of the Year" at NAIOP’S Southern Nevada Chapter's Ninth Annual Spotlight Awards Dinner

LAS VEGAS, NV – Award-winning KKE Architects/HFTA headquartered in Minneapolis, with offices in Las Vegas; Pasadena and Irvine, Calif., won four awards including the award for “Building of the Year” for its Corporate Gateway I at Beltway Business Park at the recent annual NAIOP 2006 Spotlight Awards dinner, announced Howard Thompson, managing principal for KKE Architects/HFTA in Las Vegas. The event was sponsored by the Southern Nevada Chapter of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP).

Nevada Governor Kenny C. Guinn as the master of ceremony presented the awards at the Wynn Las Vegas with more than 750 commercial real estate professionals in attendance. Corporate Gateway I received the prestigious “Building of the Year Award” and the best “Office Building - Three Story Plus Honor Award.”

Completed in October of 2005, the three-story, 75,000-square-foot Corporate Gateway I is one of four planned office buildings being designed by KKE/HFTA Architects and developed by Thomas & Mack Development Group of Las Vegas at the 400-acre Beltway Business Park in the southwest Las Vegas Valley.

The second building, which is currently under construction, is expected to be completed in June 2006. The two remaining buildings are slated to be completed in 2007.

KKE/HFTA also received Honor Awards for the best “Office Building - Single Story” for its 55,000-square-foot building at 5655 Badura Avenue, also developed by Thomas & Mack Development Group, and best “Small Building Industrial Park” for its Decatur Crossing, Phase I by LaPour Partners, Inc. of Las Vegas.
