Adam Wilcox British GT Oulton Park Rounds 1 and 2 Race Report;

Throughout qualifying and race 1 the team have struggled to find a problem with the engine losing the JMH Ferrari F360 about 40 bhp, so Adam could only manage 8th place in Qualifying for race 1.

Phil Burton would qualify and start race 1 ( as per normal routine for the British GT, Adam always has to start the Sunday event due to his class A driver rating ), and came into hand the car over to Adam after 30 minutes in 14th place, Adam took to the track only to suffer a blow out of a rear tyre on his 2nd lap, having hobbled round back to the pits to have a new tyre fitted Adam rejoined only to come foul of a drive shaft failure 2 laps later !

" Not a good start to the season, but hopefully the team can fix the problem with the power on Sunday ready for Monday's main event " Commented Adam.

For race 2 on Easter Monday Adam would start the race, the team had worked on the car all weekend trying to find the problem with the engine, sadly as Adam drove round to the grid it was clear that the problem was still there and Adam could only manage to hold onto 8th place before handing over to Phil Burton, who finally brought the car home ( now with a broken exhaust ! ) in 10th place.
