Mark Jenkins, the owner of Survivalknives.net based in Henderson, Nevada, opened his survival knife store in March of 2006. He opened it with a different idea in mind. His is a desire to educate his consumers with the unique details and features of his knives. He shares his personal experience through the various articles that appear on his website.

Jenkins prefers to sell knives that are proven through testing or backed with a lifetime warranty. Jenkins moved to Nevada in February of 2004 from Pennsylvania. He drove cross country in a car that broke down three times. All his belongings were in that car.
