Philadelphia is one of the hottest food & wine towns in the country, and it is attracting a new generation of food & wine critics. We can add Keith Wallace to that short roster of talent. As of Spring 2006, but Philadelphia Style Magazine & Dining Out Magazine have hired Keith Wallace as their wine writer.

A former writer for National Public Radio’s Morning Edition (Boston), Keith is also the director of the regions top wine education firm, The Wine School of Philadelphia. Keith has gained a widespread reputation for his unconventional & dynamic teaching style.

“I hope I can offer something new and exciting to the mix,” he says. “I always treated a wine class like a well-researched magazine article. Now I have the chance to write magazine articles like I teach classes. I can’t promise you will love everything I write, but I can promise you won’t be bored.”

Prior to writing for Philadelphia Style and Dining Out Magazines, he has been cited in the Wall Street Journal, Philadelphia Inquirer, Business Week, and many other media outlets. He has also appeared on the Fox News & CBS in the Philadelphia metro region.

Under his leadership, the Wine School of Philadelphia has gained a national reputation, and will soon announce a partnership with a major university to offer a fully accredited diploma program for the wine professional. Currently, its flagship program, the Wine Foundation Program, is open for registration for the spring semester. Information on programs are available at www.winedegree.com.
