Univenture Global Expansion Leads to Two Major Promotions

Tommy Pullin and Lisa Hand Named to International Positions


Marysville, OH — Univenture, Inc., the award winning inventor and manufacturer of a wide array of multimedia packaging and printing solutions as well as an extensive line of unique document and CD/DVD media storage and mailing products, announced the promotions of Tommy Pullin and Lisa Hand. Pullin has been promoted to President of International Operations and Hand has been promoted to International Sales Manager, effective immediately.

“Tommy and Lisa have been instrumental in Univenture’s expansion into the global marketplace,” said Michele Cole, Univenture’s President. “They have been key in our expansion into Asia and under their leadership the Univenture team will bring our products to a new region of the world.”

Pullin joined Univenture at the Reno, Nevada facility as a Field Service Engineer in 1998. He was promoted to Engineering Director and transferred to corporate headquarters in Ohio in 2001 and in 2003 was promoted to VP of Operations in charge of both the Ohio and Nevada locations. “My focus will be to introduce a Univenture presence into the manufacturing of our products in China,” remarked Pullin. “Univenture is now offering products shipped directly from China to customers in the Asian region in a competitive manner,” added Pullin.

Hand joined Univenture in Dublin, Ireland in 1998 as a Customer Service Representative. She previously worked as a Mastering Technician for both Maxell and Sonopress, which provided intense training in the optical disc industry. The knowledge gained proved to be of benefit to her position with Univenture as Hand moved to the role of Production Manager. In 2002 she was promoted to Branch Manager of the Dublin facility, taking on the role of European Sales.

“With our presence in Asia, Univenture will be able to offer a fresh approach to our European customers,” stated Hand. “This move should be of interest to all of our customers as it clearly indicates Univenture is a growing company and eager to step up and take on new challenges.
