On Tuesday, June 6, 2006, luxury bag designer Marc Marmel will be at Josephine to discuss his current line inspired by the vintage pieces of Hermès and Louis Vuitton and to take special orders for the Fall/Winter season.

Josephine is the only place in Chicago and one of the only stores in the United States to sell Marc Marmel’s incredible collection. His choice materials of cracked leather and satin form a beautiful contrast. The Amanda shoe bag is revelatory: it is perfect for travel, comfortably holding eight pairs of shoes. All of Marmel’s designs are convenient as carry-on luggage. Other products in the line include the Klondike, or weekend bag, and the Benny, a traditionally shaped suitcase with a soft structure.
