Expert Releases Summer Camp Preparedness Recommendations

CHICAGO – May 12, 2006 – With the start of summer camp right around the corner, parents of summer campers should already be making their final preparations. That means packing all the right gear to ensure a happy and safe summer camp experience.

Bring the proper insect repellent – according to Dr. Thurber, “Don't pack an aerosol can. Get lotion or stick repellent instead. You don't need 100% deet repellent, unless your child’s camp is located deep in the boggy woods.”
