Emerson Kent announces the publication of the brochure White Sands, New Mexico – Gypsum Wonderland. The author fell in love with the National Monument when he visited in 1998. Since his visit, he completed a brief summary of the monument’s turbulent history combined with a simple introduction to its geology.

If one wonders, for example, where the tons of gypsum that cover 275 square miles came from, one will find the simple answer and pictures of the process in Kent’s brochure. “I research a subject until I am able to explain it to a child,” says Kent. “If the child understands me, I know that I have my facts together. The subject will be clear to everyone and a lot of fun to read about.”

This handy brochure is printed on 18 full-color pages and nicely illustrated. One can obtain one's copy of the brochure through Kent’s new website at www.white-sands-new-mexico.com, or at the your local bookstore mentioning White Sands, New Mexico – Gypsum Wonderland by Emerson Kent, ISBN: 978-1-4116-8757-8, Publisher: Damaris Radoske Publishing.
