Professional Domino Players to Visit Arkansas Children's Hospital

(Little Rock, Arkansas-May 19, 2006)-The Professional Domino Association (PDA) is coming this weekend to Little Rock Arkansas as part of its 2006 season which includes tournaments in 13 cities across the country. For many tour players, however, the most memorable game of dominoes they play in Little Rock will not take place at the PDA tournament where $30,000 in prize money is up for grabs, but rather when they visit the Arkansas Children's Hospital on Friday, May 19th. Players, alongside PDA Commissioner Jay King, will distribute sets of dominoes to the hospital's teen patients and teach them how to play the game.

The hospital visit is part of the PDA's effort to give back to the local communities that host tour tournaments. "The game of dominoes has been a gift in each of our lives, bringing us countless hours of joy and entertainment," says Commissioner Jay King. "We hope to share this gift with as many people as possible."

Many of the PDA's top young stars such as Nate Tsegay, Richard Harris, and George Bush will be in attendance.

The PDA's Little Rock Tournament will be held on May 20th at the Hilton Little Rock Metro Center. Registration starts at 12:00 pm and the tournament begins at 1:30pm.
