Academy of Art University Honors Alexander McQueen in San Francisco

On Wednesday, May 24th 2006, the Academy of Art University in San Francisco will honor Alexander McQueen and present the collections of the Class of 2006 in the historical Morgan Auditorium.

President Dr. Elisa Stephens will host the occasion and present an Honorary Doctorate to Alexander McQueen the celebrated fashion designer whose numerous awards include the CFDA International Designer of the Year Award and the Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire by Her Majesty the Queen. Simon Ungless, Director of Graduate Fashion, collaborated with McQueen on eight collections before joining the University.
