Worcester, MA - last month at the San Francisco Fancy Food Show, smith&jones helped client NASFT, publishers of Specialty Food Magazine, announce and promote their new consumer off-shoot, foodspring. Positioning foodspring as the magazine “for the food adventurist," the agency created numerous marketing pieces to help get out the message that foodspring is a cost-effective way for manufacturers to get their products noticed by upscale, affluent specialty food purchasers - now known as food adventurists. A trade show booth was designed and produced along with 8' tall posters that showed different food adventurists and their profiles as well as advertising, a brochure and an invite to the launch party - which included an engraved corkscrew, asking attendees to join in "uncorking some big news."
