Filter MLS Results by School

May 25, 2006 (PRLEAP.COM) Business News
www.mibrahim.net announced its release of the MLS search portion of the website. The MLS search allows website visitors to browse the active MLS records in Maryland and North Virginia filtering the results by elementary, middle and high schools, subdivision and price range.

After the website visitor selects a county and city, search results then appear in descending order of price. To the right of the screen a set of filters gets displayed, which categorize the current active listings in the selected city by schools, subdivision and price range. The selection of those set of filters is based on the way buyers seek properties.

Before kitchens and bathrooms, some buyers specify as a precondition that their home should be in a specific school area. Sometimes it is because their children friends go to that school, and sometimes it is because of their own experiences and public feedback on school performances. Other conditions including number of bedrooms and bathrooms are usually secondary to location and schools with most buyers.

Our statistics shows that users that spend time and revisit the website usually finds us by search strings with school names or subdivision names and thus those are buyers seeking a specific school zone or a specific location in a city.
