Plamil Foods, Folkestone, Kent near Dover make the UK’s favourite mayonnaise and gallons of it will be consumed at music festivals and out door events all over Europe this summer.

Adrian Ling director of Plamil says “The caterers love our mayonnaise because it’s not only delicious and healthy but it’s also suitable for everyone. Even customers who don’t eat dairy and eggs such as vegans or for religious and ethical reasons can eat it. It’s free from dairy, wheat, soya, eggs and other animal products but one thing it’s certainly not free from is taste!”

“Sales of our vegan mayonnaise have doubled since last year and we are working around the clock to keep up with demand” adds Adrian

Research from The Food and Drink Federation showed that people in the UK are more likely than ever before to try meat free alternatives as consumers become more health conscious and are enticed by new better than ever vegetarian and vegan alternatives.

To help this along Plamil have launched a “It’s not mission impossible” bbq website in conjunction with London Nutritionists Foods For Life to celebrate the 10th National BBQ Week and summer celebrations in a healthier way.

There will be recipes and menu ideas as well as links to the latest best tasting vegan soysages , burgers and other meat free alternatives.
