Scottsdale, Ariz., May 28, 2006 –- NuVision U.S., Inc. (www.nuvision.com), a Scottsdale, Ariz.-based advanced HDTV and liquid crystal display manufacturer, is proud to announce that it has appointed consumer electronics industry veteran Paul Fredrickson to its senior management team as Vice President, Marketing and Strategic Planning.

“We are extremely pleased to have Paul join NuVision’s management team,” said Scott Deley, NuVision President & CEO. “Having Paul’s industry knowledge and depth of business experience is a great addition to our organization.”

Fredrickson has moved over to HDTV and liquid crystal display manufacturer NuVision from Mitsui Comtek where he was Strategic Marketing Director, playing a role in the creation of the Mitsui-NuVision relationship which resulted in a recent equity investment as well as planning and new product development assistance for the company. Before joining Mitsui, Fredrickson was Senior VP of Marketing for Loewe Opta, Inc. after having been Senior VP Marketing for Sensory Science. Fredrickson has a long background in CE, holding various VP level product and brand marketing jobs for nine years at Philips Consumer Electronics after eight years in sales and marketing at RCA.

“After being in the consumer electronics business for more than 25 years, I’m happy to be part of creating an exciting new company like NuVision,” said Fredrickson. “Unlike so many companies participating in the display business today, NuVision has a strong channel focus with a mission to bring innovation and excellence to the specialty and custom install markets.”

Scottsdale-based HDTV and liquid crystal display manufacturer NuVision (www.nuvision.com) announced in late February that it received equity funding from Mitsui Comtek Corp. Mitsui Comtek was founded in 1986 by Mitsui & Co., Ltd. as the strategic subsidiary for IT & Electronics business in U.S. market. Mitsui Comtek has been very active in enabling advanced display technologies to be launched into the consumer IT and CE markets through various strategic partnerships. Mitsui Comtek has been an early investor in a wide range of technology companies such as Gateway 2000, Nanosolar, and SiRF.

In addition to its line of high-performance LCD TVs, NuVision announced and showed an LED illuminated 1080p DLP projection TV at the 2006 Spring EH Expo for delivery to the market in the summer of 2006.
