Chicago, IL—May 27, 2006—“This resource is amazing!” is just one of the comments TastyFaith has received regarding Life After Birth—Bible Studies and Encouragement for the Teen Mom.
This new series, which is 100% teen friendly and 0% preachy, is helping Christian outreach groups across the country connect with the teen mom who often drops out of church scene once she has a child.
While the country is facing an epidemic of teen pregnancies, TastyFaith’s Life After Birth is the only Christian resource available to help churches connect with teen moms. No major Christian publisher has a book to help teen parents at this time.
Author Ginger Sinsabaugh MacDonald, believes the church needs to do more to help teen moms. “If the Christian community tells a pregnant teen to choose life, we have no choice but to help her once she makes that decision. We can’t treat her like an outcast. We need to love that young mom unconditionally and help her finish high school as well as stay connected in the church.” Life After Birth has had a great response from outreach groups including single moms groups, churches, and pregnancy centers. It is just one of the resources TastyFaith has for urban youth ministry.
TastyFaith, a micro-publisher of fresh curriculum for urban ministry, has been around since 2002. A free excerpt of Life After Birth can be downloaded at TastyFaith.com.
