2006 ClueLess on Las Olas The Case of Happy Glows Brightly Solved

June 01, 2006 (PRLEAP.COM) Education News
It was quite a night on Las Olas Boulevard on Thursday, April 20th. Nearly 500 armature sleuths assisted Fort Lauderdale Police Detective Daniel “Ima” Duhman in the murder of Happy Hightower. Detectives, Snitches and Suspects all mingled on the Boulevard and at the street party at SE 9th Avenue at the 11th annual ClueLess on Las Olas.

One lucky detective, Amanda Keator, figured out all seven clues and deduced that Maria Marsite was the culprit and that Objets d'Art was where the murder took place. For solving the case of Happy Hightower, Amanda won two tickets on Southwest Airlines. Other successful sleuths were, Dayna Hart, who took second prize and Sharon Schmedel, who came in third.

Between registration, Silent Auction, raffle and sponsorships, more than $27,000 was raised to support the programs of Partners In Education, Inc., Broward County Public Schools’ premier school-business partnership program. To learn more about Partners In Education, or to become a partner with one of Broward’s public schools, please go to www.browardpartners.com.

Special thanks go out to the volunteer sleuths who participated and to all the sponsors, volunteers and merchants who made it happen. A special cheer goes to Ron Ishoy, our intrepid mystery writer, our hosts, the Las Olas Merchants Association and Ric Green our Emcee.
