June 02, 2006 (PRLEAP.COM) Entertainment News
The nine members of the Lowell, MA based performing arts publishing group OUtlET have decided to live up to their reputation… with another party.

Whether they are viewed as the sole salvation of a long gone industrial giant turned artistic haven or as another misanthropic group of loner artists riding on the coat tails of those who came before. Say what you will, they've done a lot for their fellow artist. for a while it was a magazine every two weeks, two weekly events, and performing their work publicly every chance they got.

OUtlET works hard, which means they get to play hard too.

The organization is turning two on June 10th. Like last years event, the festivities will start at 7PM at the Revolving Museum with The presentation of the Annual Valence Awards, given to contributors and community members for being part of the overall cultural movement not just in Lowell, but all over. There will be performances from local 'famous guy' Donny McHale and No Pilots, No Demos, a group formed of a few OUtlET Members.

At 9PM, the celebration will move across town to the 119 Gallery at 119 Chelmsford St. The Dailey Brothers will play, Moller will follow and all throughout the night there will be refreshments, video projections, and dancing.

After that, there will be a secret party between the hours of 1 and 7 AM, when then the party will land at the Brew'd Awakening Coffehaus on Market St.

OUtlET began as a 'zine and has now evolved into an entity that encompasses many mediums and art forms, and it can even include you – June 10th, 22 Shattuck Street, Lowell MA, 01852
