MIAMI, FL – June 3, 2006 – The Vedic Math Development Corp. – the U.S. franchisor of Math Monkey™ Knowledge Centers – has received its Uniform Franchise Offering Circular (UFOC), making it possible for the company to immediately begin selling franchises to investors.

The company is now licensed to franchise in 37 states; it is anticipated Math Monkey will be licensed in all 50 states in the coming months. Franchises, along with master licenses and joint ventures, are available, both domestically and internationally.

Math Monkey is an enjoyable way for children to learn math, as they discover there are many ways to reach the correct conclusion. The franchise teaches Vedic math – a fun system that takes the mystery out of math.

“By using Vedic math, complex mathematic problems can be solved within seconds – without the use of paper or a calculator,” said Kirsten Fisch, the CEO (Top Banana) at Math Monkey. “We will offer this quick problem-solving ability, a crucial link for academic success, to children throughout the United States, ages 6 to 10, through our Math Monkey Knowledge Centers.”

The first center is opening this month in Weston Fl., and is now enrolling young people for the Math Monkey Summer Knowledge Jungle – the ideal program for parents who want their children to excel academically over the summer. Corporate-owned franchises are expected to open within the top 10 U.S. markets over the next 12 months.

Math Monkey can support store operations from its Global Business Support Center, as well as through instructor training and 24-hour support.

“Math Monkey is evolving at a strategic time,” Fisch said. “Child services are considered the fastest growing segment in franchising. The Math Monkey business model compares favorably to several established franchisors in the market today.”

For investors, Math Monkey offers a simple and unique business system. The supply chain is completely electronic. Investors do not have to deal with the challenges associated with traditional franchising companies, such as ordering perishable food, holiday-related merchandise and other time-sensitive products. The Vedic Math Development Corporation has designed a system that is easy to follow and geared toward worldwide expansion.

The UFOC, available through corporate headquarters in Miami, is a federally-mandated disclosure form that all franchise companies must present to potential franchisees detailing their respective companies and the potential risks. The UFOC includes a full audit of Vedic Math Development Corp., as well as the costs associated with opening a Math Monkey franchise.

In recent months, Math Monkey officials worked closely with independent accountants, franchise experts and other professionals to ensure the UFOC provides potential investors with a clear and detailed analysis of the company.

Reviewing the UFOC is one of the steps involved in becoming a Math Monkey franchisee; potential investors must also interview with company representatives, undergo specific training and follow a detailed roadmap for success.

“Franchisees need to know that their success is our success,” Fisch said. “To that end, we offer one of the finest global support networks in franchising industry. If you enjoy being extremely creative, opening children to a new level of learning and expressing your own personality, then Math Monkey is the business for you.”
