BROOKLYN, NY Jan 22, 2005—New York State Senator John Sampson and former New York City Councilwoman Pricilla Wooten Supports Black Business Circle KID’s. New York State Senator John Sampson and former NYC Councilwomen Pricilla Wooten applauded Lisa Washington, Founder and President of Black Business Circle.com, Publisher of Black Circle News and Founder of the organization’s youth empowerment program.

Black Business Circle KID’s, Delanci age 4 and Bianca age 4 performed for a packed house in their debut staring roles as Rosa Parks and a Civil Rights protester, in the play ‘The Bus Boycott”, a modern-day short skit written and conceived by Lisa Washington, to celebrate the life and spirit of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

In attendance were New York State Senator John Sampson and former New York City Councilwoman Pricilla Wooten, a well known member of the Linden Plaza Senior Center, Mrs. Bunche, facilitator of Parenting Workshops, Joan Washington, Glover Baptist Church’s Elrita Spruill, CEO Sharon Eddie of Sharon’s Decorations, Inc., Black Business Circle member Marcus Moore and Director Leonie Purandah of St. Louis Senior Center.

The St. Louis Senior Center was well represented and obviously brought in all the troops. They are still talking about little Rosa Parks, so much so that Black Business Circle KID’s have already been booked for Black History Month in a neighboring community for February 28, 2005.

Black Business Circle KID’s is a youth empowerment program which is a segment of Black Business Circle.com, and offers life skills training in cultural arts, enterprise, cash management, investment strategies and public speaking for young boys and girls ages 3 years old and up.

The youth empowerment program was formed to support young people and to tap in, bring out and cultivate their natural abilities through training workshops, especially designed for children who have the support of at least one responsible adult.
