It's a whisper at the moment but a handful of John Harley Weston's songs are in the hands of a very well known Australian performer who is currently in pre-production on a new album. At the performer's request John's songs are being pitched alongside works by the Finn Brothers (Crowded House), Don Walker (Cold Chisel) and other noted writers.

With awards and recognitions from the Australian National Songwriting Contest and Billboard World Songwriting Contest it seems that Weston is starting to ride the big waves.

Weston says, 'If I'd known it was going to be this difficult getting heard, I'd have become a town cryer stripper years ago'.

Weston has worked with the likes of Gary Katz (Steeley Dan), Sandy Jones & Graham Duffin (Wet Wet Wet), U.S. based drummer Tony Beard (Hall and Oates, Go West, Paul McCartney), Ian Kewley (Paul Young), Steve Jackson (Bryan Adams), Tony Philips (Seal), Dave Bascombe (Tears For Fears), Kenny Macdonald (Texas) Wix (Paul McCartney)

John's current album is 'Hope Harbour'. To get a signed copy go to http://www.johnharleyweston.com/purchase.htm or download from iTunes at http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewAlbum?playListId=75357963
