A couple of years ago if someone had suggested that people would happily be paying over $120 for pair of jeans most people would have laughed at you, but today if you want to find yourself a pair stylishly aged and distressed jeans that is the norm. When you are spending that amount of money you want to make sure that you are buying yourself the perfect pair or jeans.

Denimology was created back in February 2006 when Andy Knight realized that whilst there were many sites online selling premium jeans there were no sites solely dedicated to keeping consumers updated on all the latest denim styles - "I am a denim obsessive and I felt that if I produced a site totally dedicated to denim it would surely find an audience amongst people looking for the pefect pair of jeans".

The site has doubled in size each month since launch and has attracted lots of interest from the media both online and off - next month it will be featured in the special denim issue of Nylon magazine.

Andy's stated goal is "to create the web's leading denim community, a place where people can not only find out all the latest denim fashions but also contribute their own experiences of which premium jeans are the perfect fit for them."
