Franklin, TN — Habitat for Humanity of Williamson County is holding its 10th annual Habitee Golf Challenge on Monday, July 24th at The Governor's Club in Brentwood, TN. The committee is actively recruiting Team Captains and Individual Players, along with corporate sponsors and individuals who wish to make pledges supporting this fundraising event.

The Habitee Golf Challenge is an opportunity to tell the Habitat story to the local community and raise significant funds for the Williamson County, TN affiliate. The financial goal for 2006 is $125,000 - double that of last year - with the monies designated to the operating and administrative costs of the affiliate. The event is one where players "raise funds and raise friends" to support the vision of Habitat for Humanity.

Team Captains and Individual Players commit to mailing or emailing a sponsor ship letter and HFHWC brochure to at least 50 people. A special Tee-Off Dessert evening is planned later in June for anyone who has already committed or who is interested in learning more. It will be held at the Mansion at The Governor's Club; attendees are encouraged to bring a guest. Corporate sponsors are able to buy a Flag Stick or Hole Sign to support the event. And of course, individual donations and pledges are always welcome; see the homepage of HFHWC's website at www.habitatwilliamson.org.
