Boxtec Internet Appliances is a leading distributor in Switzerland for Internet-based appliances and opensource software based products.
"A lot of customers are looking for an integrated solution with Antispam, Antivirus and Webmail. Our partnership with AXIGEN allows us to fill this gap with a superior product, backed up by excellent support and development staff. As more and more SoHo and Medium companies move away from the large solutions of Microsoft, IBM, Novell and others we expect a rapid growth for AXIGEN products in Switzerland", said Christoph Schneeberger, CEO of Boxtec Internet Appliances.
The distribution agreement allows Swiss customers to access latest electronic communication technologies developed by AXIGEN. They will also benefit from a professional and localized technical support from Boxtec.
"AXIGEN is committed to build strong relationships with its partners all over the world, by offering business solutions tailored to each company's specific line of activity. Being our first distributor in Switzerland, Boxtec represents an important partner, recognized and appreciated on Swiss market. We count on our partner for more visibility and best distribution to Swiss companies", says Oana Bornaz, CEO for AXIGEN.
AXIGEN was launched on international market in the second part of 2005 and now operates on Linux and BSD platforms. New versions for Solaris, MacOS and Windows will be available until the end of this year. At present, AXIGEN is distributed all over the world by more than 20 partners.
