June 22, 2006 (PRLEAP.COM) Technology News
Los Angeles, CA June 22, 2006 — Legacy Interactive, the developer and publisher of such popular casual games as Law & Order, ER, and The Apprentice, has launched an innovative new game portal, www.legacygames.com.

More than 250 games are available from the new portal, including the most popular games from all the major developers and publishers. In addition, Legacy is selling its own downloadable games, including the inaugural episode of Law & Order: Criminal Intent, as well as the perennial family favorites, Zoo Vet and The Apprentice.

Legacy Games offers casual gamers some new and exciting features that are not yet available on other web portals, including the following.

What’s New Today

Featuring convenient “one-stop shopping,” Legacy Games will list on its homepage the new downloadable games available every day from all the major portals. Now the casual gamer can visit a single website to find out “what’s new” around the web. In addition, the customer can determine how they want to receive this daily update, i.e., via the website, email newsletters, or RSS feeds.

Games for Grownups

Legacy Games is committed to giving its customers multiple opportunities to communicate with Legacy and more importantly, with each other, in a section of its site called “Express Yourself.” Included in that section is one of the first casual gaming blogs, called Games for Grownups, which will feature reviews on new downloadable games. Frequent contributors include industry veterans such as Annette Bechamp of Dreamcatcher Games and Ariella Lehrer of Legacy Interactive. Customers are also encouraged to submit new game reviews. Each time a “guest blogger’s” review is posted, he or she will receive $25 from Legacy!

Creativity Tools

Legacy Games will be making some new and different types of applications available to its customers, including fun and creative tools to be used with digital photographs, video, and music.
