The Newest Scientology Mission in South Africa

Chartwell, an up and coming suburb of Johannesburg, South Africa is home to one of the newest Scientology Missions in the country.

The Mission Director, Di Woodley, is a dynamic, local Scientologist. Di and her family built the beautiful facilities for Chartwell Mission from the ground up with plenty of space provided to host public introductory lectures and courses as well as additional rooms for the delivery of Dianetics and Scientology counseling.

More than 100 people attended the official grand opening and ribbon cutting including the Commanding Officer of Scientology Missions International for Africa and the Executive Director of the Church of Scientology Johannesburg Foundation [www.scientology.org.za]who spoke about the vital importance of Missions in serving their communities.

This was followed by an address from the local Police Commissioner who expressed her interest in the Church's anti-drug campaign [http://www.drugsalvage.org]and The Way to Happiness [http://www.twth.org] and what they can do for this community.

Di Woodley and the staff members of the Chartwell Mission were then presented with a special commendation from Scientology Missions International [http://www.smi.org] in Africa for the great job they had done in building this mission and for their dedication to serving the people of their community.
