Five Sparrows Announces Launch of Updated, Feature-Rich Web Site for Orion Township Public Library

HARTLAND, MICHIGAN, June 28, 2006— Five Sparrows, LLC is pleased to announce the launch of a completely re-designed and improved web site it created for Orion Township Public Library, located in Lake Orion, Michigan. The new site includes a new navigation system, an updated and streamlined look, better organization, and even provides separate sections for Children and Teens with custom pages designed specifically for these age groups.

A custom calendar feature dynamically displays current events for the Adults, Children, Teens, and Seniors pages, making it fast and easy for users to find activities and events that are of interest to them. “The integrated calendar feature is a real time-saver,” said Judi Rudisill, LAN/Web Coordinator for Orion Township Public Library. The new web site is also fully integrated with The Library Network, a public library cooperative serving 65 libraries in southeast Michigan. The new web site is well organized, easy to use, and offers a custom three-option search feature that lets users search the Orion Township Library web site, the library’s online catalog, or the entire web, right from the top of each web page. The home page also includes a Flash animation featuring photos from Orion Township past and present.
