Musicguard has been providing specialist musician and musical equipment insurance for the last 10 years. The new product, named DJguard, has been specially created for the unique needs of DJs, discos, mobile karaoke and VJs.

“We’ve listened to our DJ and disco based customers and created a product that fits their needs, giving them flexible cover whilst still making it easy and quick for them to take out cover” says Sarah Gow, Director of Sales and Customer Service. “DJs can now get £2 million public liability insurance for just £67 including £1000 of free dj, karaoke and disco insurance, along with other options like breakdown cover and voluntary excesses”.

DJguard offers these options under their ‘create your own cover’ philosophy – where customers are able to select the elements of cover, so they save money by only paying for what they actually need.

Giles Rees, Marketing Director of Pavilion commented, “Our unique ‘create your own cover’ approach allows customers total flexibility to choose the cover that’s right for them at a price they can afford. The ability to mix and match benefits to create a tailor made policy enables an individual solution for every customer. It’s a refreshing change to ‘like it or lump it’ all inclusive musical equipment insurance policies.”
