Top Stars of Regional Mexican and Tropical Music Are Honored in 10th annual "Premios Furia Musical" Awards

Miami, FL — Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, "Premios Furia Musical", the preeminent awards ceremony recognizing the very best artists in Regional Mexican and Tropical music, will air on Univision Sunday, February 8 from 8-11 pm ET/PT (7-10 pm Central/Mountain).

Originating in Mexico City, "Premios Furia Musical" will showcase the biggest, most popular artists of two of Latin music's most popular genres. The gala telecast will feature spectacular performances by top recording stars such as Banda Cuisillos, Los Tucanes de Tijuana, Intocable, Vicente Fernandez, Joan Sebastian, Lupillo Rivera, El Coyote, and Ana Barbara. In addition, many of Hispanic TV's biggest celebrities will be on hand to present the evening's awards including Galilea Montijo, Jorge Salinas, Hector Sandarti, Raul Velasco, Maribel Guardia and Sergio Goyri.

This year, the show will also feature special tributes to Mexican music giants Vicente Fernandez, Antonio Aguilar, and the late Eulalio Gonzalez "Piporro."
