Madhouse won the account after a four-way pitch and the agency will start by redesigning the business to consumer literature with the aim of raising brand awareness and increasing the Trust’s annual growth rate. The Pensions Trust serves over 4,000 employer organisations, with over 113,000 members and pensioners, and manages assets of more than £2.5 billion.

Commenting on the appointment, David Galbraith, Head of Strategy and Technology at the Trust said, “We are a well-established brand in the not-for-profit sector but we need to raise our profile further in what is a highly competitive market. Madhouse presented a fresh approach to the brand and a clear understanding of our target audience. It was clear that they have the ideas and experience to ensure we can meet our objectives.”

The Pensions Trust offers three base products, each with their own sub-products and all of these have individual marketing material. Madhouse will be working on developing distinct identities for each product whilst ensuring brand consistency throughout.

Phil Rogerson, Joint Managing Director at Madhouse said, “The Pensions Trust is a well-respected organisation with high brand loyalty and a good reputation. We’re delighted to have been appointed to help them develop their consumer marketing and are confident that we can make a real difference to the brand.”
