Costume Designer, Darryle Johnson receives Emmy Nomination for Everbody Hates Chris

20 year Hollywood veteran, Darryle Johnson has been nominated to receive an Emmy for his costuming design work on Everybody Hates Chris. Darryle Johnson has made his mark in Fashion, Film, and Television. No one is able to capture the essence of a character; he captures the personality so much that you can almost taste their memories. His career has been just as magical overall. Darryle’s career with in film includes Boyz in the Hood, The Wood, 187, Scary Movie and National Lampoon’s Dorm Daze. His venture to prime time television has been just as we all would expect, spectacular. The hit UPN show, “Everybody Hates Chris” has caught the deserved attention of the television academy. Darrlye has been nominated this year to receive an Emmy. This is another beautiful moment in his career. February he was just returning from his hometown designing the costumes for the 2006 Super Bowl Pre Show featuring Stevie Wonder. Just before that, the city had recently presented him with a “Spirit of Detroit” Award.
