A properties browser on steroids

Pune, India (February 2004) - Viklele Associates today announced the release of VLPropertyList V2.0. VLPropertyList offers an elegant and intuitive interface to visualize and manipulate a set of property-value pairs. Ideally suited to load, display and modify properties of COM objects with minimal programming. It can also display and manipulate any set of properties and values. Multi-level categorization of properties and dual views (flat as well as hierarchical) are supported.

VLPropertyList V2.0 is packed with new features such as Recordset browsing support - VLPropertyList can now be used as a recordset browser with a single line of code. You will be able to browse and modify records from an ADO recordset in easiest possible manner. Object property drilldown - The new version supports drilling into the properties of COM object properties that are objects themselves. Enhanced data validation - You can now specifiy valid value range for numeric and date type property rows. The corresponding value editors will automatically enforce the range validations when user edits value of the property through VLPropertyList control. Enhanced Keyboard Support - Keyboard support is enhanced based on actual user feedback. Now you can also specify keyboard mnemonics for switching between alphabatic and categorised views. Also, you can jump to a property by simply pressing Ctrl and the key corresponding to the first character of the property name and much much more.
