Redlich Calls for McNulty to Apologize for Pro-War Vote

Congressional challenger Warren Redlich (R-Albany NY) called today for incumbent Michael McNulty (D-Green Island) to apologize for supporting the war in Iraq.

McNulty recently admitted that the war in Iraq, which he voted for, was a "colossal failure", and "one of the biggest blunders in the history of warfare." The US has spent over $300 billion on the war. Over 20,000 American soldiers have been killed or injured in the conflict.

Redlich, who opposed the war from the beginning, said that McNulty's actions were typical of his 18 years wasting taxpayer money: "It's time for him to accept personal responsibility. Others, like Maurice Hinchey (D-Hurley), had the guts to say no. McNulty didn't stand up then. It's time for him to stand down now."
