SPRINGFIELD, Ohio, July 29, 2006 — The Springfield Harley Owners Group (HOG) invites the community and riders from all over to participate in its Annual Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) Run on Saturday, July 29. This ride is open to all vehicles –motorcycles, bikes, cars, trucks and even street cars. Proceeds from the ride go to the Greater Miami Valley MDA. Harley-Davidson and its HOGs have been long-time supporters of MDA.
The MDA Run will begin and end at Mid-Ohio Harley-Davidson, sponsor of the Springfield HOG, located at 2100 Quality Lane in Springfield. Registration for the event begins at 11 a.m. and the first bike goes out at 12 p.m. Registration cost is $15 per person. After the riders return, all are welcome to a post-run meal and door prizes, courtesy of MDA and Springfield HOG, will be awarded.
Funds raised by the Springfield HOG MDA Run give MDA, a voluntary health agency, the means to continue providing direct services, research and professional and public health education to children and adults with neuromuscular diseases in the Greater Miami Valley Area.
