Children’s Home Society & Family Services Relocates Dakota County Office

St. Paul, Minn. – On August 1, 2006, the Dakota County office of Children’s Home Society & Family Services, will relocated to West Port Office Building located at 220 South Robert Street, Suite 106 in St. Paul. The new location is easy to find on the corner of South Robert Street and Plato Boulevard East, and is conveniently located on a bus line.

The move will be made to better serve clients from Northern Dakota and Ramsey counties through child and domestic abuse prevention services and employee assistance program.

Domestic Abuse Prevention services include:
· Court-appointed domestic abuse offender men’s groups
· Court-appointed domestic abuse offender women’s groups
· Anger management classes
· Domestic abuse victims groups for women and children
· Domestic abuse prevention groups for women and children

Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention services include:
· Parent support services (formerly called Crisis Nursery) to help struggling parents through financial, and other stressors that might lead to child abuse or neglect
· Parent support case management
· Support groups

Employee Assistance Program: site will be used to conduct EAP counseling appointments for employees of client companies.
