Informative Training for After-School Professionals Planned in NYC for September

School-Age Notes will be heading east this fall to bring its fun and informative full-day training program, The School-Age Notes Authors’ Tour, to New York City in September. Join four of School-Age Note’s nationally known authors (Sue Edwards and Kathleen Martinez, authors of Fun Literacy Activities: Books & Beyond and Karen Haas-Foletta and Lori Ottolini Geno, two of the authors of School-Age Ideas and Activities) at Fordham University’s Lincoln Center Campus, 155 W. 60th St., 12th Floor Lounge, on Saturday, September 30th 2006 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. for a day designed for both staff and directors filled with useful tips, and ready to use information on:

• Creating environments that support learning and play
• Designing activities and curriculum that enhance literacy, academic support and enrichment
• Developing an atmosphere of positive discipline for children

Early bird registration of $95, including breakfast, networking luncheon, workbook and certificate of participation, is available until September 9, 2006 (cost increases to $125 after September 9th).
