Taproot Foundation announces partnerships with Bay Area trade associations to engage professionals in pro bono service

Taproot Foundation has partnered with the San Francisco chapters of the American Institute of Graphic Art (AIGA SF), American Marketing Association (SF AMA), Project Management Association (PMI SF-BAC), and the Bay Area Advertising Relief Committee (BAARC) to help achieve its mission of strengthening nonprofits by engaging business professionals in pro bono service. The Taproot Foundation is a nonprofit organization that builds teams of marketing/creative services, project management, human resources and information technology professionals to volunteer on structured pro bono projects for local nonprofits. Taproot Foundation lets professionals donate their business skills to make the strongest impact on the local community while networking and growing professionally.

The participating trade associations currently serve a critical role in advancing their respective professions. Through their partnership with the Taproot Foundation, these groups are committing to be vangaurd channels for spreading the pro bono work ethic throughout the professional community, beyond its current root in the legal profession.
