Debut Author, Linda S. Prather will be attending the 25th Annual Kentucky Book Fair held at the Frankfort Convention Center in historic Frankfort, Kentucky on November 11, 2006.

Prather states: "Being invited to the Kentucky Book Fair is truly an honor for any author, and definitely an honor for a new author. Profits from the fair provide grants to Kentucky school and public libraries for local book purchasing and literacy-related causes. Truly a worthy cause, and one I wholeheartedly support.

Books, libraries and wonderful teachers gave me an opportunity to see a different world—one I wanted to be a part of. When I first wrote The Gifts, A Jacody Ives Mystery I had no idea the impact it would have on my life. The feedback from readers has been overwhelming, and I could not have hoped for a better response. I fell in love with the "Jacody Ives family" in the book, and it appears my readers have also fallen in love with them and requested a sequel, and I am currently rewriting the second of this series, "Sacred Secrets"."
