DAYTON, Ohio, August 17, 2006 — KK Motorcycle and F&S Harley Davidson invite the community and riders from all over to participate in its Annual Motorcycles for Muscular Dystrophy Ride (MC for MD) on Sunday, August 20. Proceeds from the ride go to the Greater Miami Valley Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA). Harley-Davidson has been a long-time supporter of MDA. This year is the 35th year of MC for MD Ride.

The MC for MD Ride will begin and end at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds located at 1043 South Main Street in Dayton. Registration for the event begins 9:30 a.m. and the ride begins at 1 p.m. Registration cost is $12 per person. Pledge sheets can be picked up before the event at F & S Harley-Davidson located at 7220 North Dixie Drive in Dayton.

In addition to the Ride, KK Motorcycle and F&S Harley Davidson are raffling off a 35th Anniversary Harley Davidson. Raffle tickets can be purchased at the event or ahead of time at F&S Harley Davidson for $5/ticket.

Funds raised by MC for MD give MDA, a voluntary health agency, the means to continue providing direct services, research and professional and public health education to children and adults with neuromuscular diseases in the Greater Miami Valley Area. In addition, MDA is able to provide a summer camp tailored to the needs of children, from age 6 to 21, with muscular dystrophy.
