Simon Wilby, president and inventor of The Hear Now, a high-tech pet tracking and communicating device, has announced he would offer financial aid to owners of pets who can not afford medical costs incurred by their injured pets. He called his new program, “The Hear Now Second Chance.”

Pointing out that many pet owners can not afford vet costs to repair an injured animal, Mr. Wilby said he wanted to “give back to animals the love they have given me.”

He said he would of course check claims sent to him by needy pet owners and help them financially for treatment of the injured animals.

Simon Wilby, inventor and founder of the Calgary, Canada firm, describes his company as a local company specializing in high-tech innovative pet products for both dogs and cats. Horse bridle and wheelchair attachments are also available.

“Animals have a right to live,” he said, noting that he often stops his car on a highway to aid an injured animal.

He pointed out that now, The Hear Now product has revolutionized how pet owners track, monitor and communicate with their pets even at a distance. The Hear Now is based on a two way radio communication system that is operated by a hand held walkie-talkie. “We are keeping pets alive with this system and now we want to increase our role in aid for injured pets,” he declared.
