Actor Joe Camareno, a successful actor, writer, voice over artist and producer just penned a two year deal with Conan Carroll & Associates. He is repped by Conan Carroll, owner of the agency and Kristen Renee theatrically and by Barbara Divisek Commercially. The deal covers across the board representation for consideration in all television, film and commercial work.

A New York City native, Camareno has been working in Los Angeles since 1995 and has starred in numerous television programs and films such as ER, Malcolm in the Middle, Roswell and most recently the short film Cup O’ Joe. Cup O’ Joe, written by Camareno, Kurt Patino and directed by Dale Fabrigar, is creating a buzz in Hollywood with bites from several high ranking literary departments in Los Angeles, including ICM.

Camareno has been hailed as a powerful and versatile actor of Latino descent. He has played everything from a paramedic to a former child star trying to break back into the business.

Joe Camareno is the son of Mexican singer composer Jose Manuel; whose late 1970’s hit “Eres Un Angel” (You Are An Angel) garnered composing commissions from the very popular Spanish music groups Los Diablos and Los Freddy’s.

Camareno also recently partnered with Jeff Folschinsky a veteran sound designer and published playwright to form PlayGrounds, Ink! LLC a full service production company based out of Glendale, California. They are in the midst of film production on Memoirs: A Series of WWII Vignettes penned and directed by Camareno and starring Yvonne Delarosa (Helter Skelter, Judging Amy, NYPD Blue) and Ricardo Molina star of Telemundo’s Reyes y Rey and most recently in Columbia Pictures’ Spanglish.
