Orange County firm, JV Media Design was chosen to create the web presence for the new 28,000 square foot Digital Media Center located in the Bristol Corridor of Santa Ana.

The center is the result of collaboration between the Rancho Santiago Community College District, Santa Ana College, the City of Santa Ana, and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Economic Development Administration.

The DMC's state-of-the-art facility hopes to encourage growth in the digital media industry through its cutting-edge educational courses and innovative business incubator program.

"We're a digital media business ourselves, so when I found out we were chosen for the web development project, I was excited to be part of something that will eventually lead to growth of this industry in the area", says Sherry Holub, the Creative Director at JV Media.

"One unique challenge we faced during the project was how to appeal to both the potential businesses the incubator program might house as well as students who might be interested in courses at the facility. And the center isn't just about digital design; they also have courses and facilities catering to digital music and TV/Video. I think we met the challenge by providing a high-end, professional site."

The website, http://www.dmc-works.com was launched on August 22nd, to coincide with a special event for businesses. The first classes will be held at the center on August 28th.
