Pasadena, CA, Aug 30, 2006 (Open Release) – Justin is a 28 year old Navy Seal who was just married in January 2006, and should be living the happy life of a newlywed. But luck has not been kind to Justin and now Soldiers Angels’ (an all volunteer military support organization) is asking Americans around the country to reach out to help this young man and his wife.

The bad luck began when Hurricane Katrina hit the area near New Orleans where Justin and his wife were living, causing the loss of all the contents of their home. They didn't get back into their home until March and had just finished the renovation work on the home themselves on Memorial Day. Then, on June 2nd, Justin was diagnosed with leukemia. To make matters worse, since his initial diagnosis, Justin has also been found to have the Philadelphia chromosome, an unfortunate complication that makes a bone marrow stem cell transplant a necessity for any chance of survival.

You can help a brave warrior and his family in this time of extreme need. Donations can be made to help defray the unknown living and medical costs not covered by the Navy and to help defray the travel and lodging expenses of his wife and parents so they can be with their loved one. An account has been set up through Soldiers Angels’ to receive any donations, small or large to help this family. To make your donation, please go to the organization website at www.soldiersangels.org and click on Make A Donation. Please note “Justin Fund” on your donation. To donate by check, please also note “Justin Fund” on the check and mail it to: Soldiers Angels’
