How do you blend the dry subject of facilities maintenance with the hot world of mobile gizmos? Bring ’em both to Dave and Buster’s, At least that’s what Symbol Technologies and DataSplice Mobile Enterprise Solutions are both thinking.

Symbol Technologies, a leader in mobile hardware will be bringing the “18 Wheels of Enterprise Mobility Solutions” truck, their name for the recently re-designed Symbol Mobile Briefing Center, a fully equipped mobile demo center to Denver. Loaded with an array of Symbol products, this impressive center crisscrosses the U.S. and Canada throughout the year, and will stop at Denver’s favorite adult arcade and gamer’s venue.

Presenting two information talks will be DataSplice’s very own Jeff Gibson. With years of mobility and computerized facilities maintenance software experience, Gibson will discuss the Keys to Successful Mobile Implementation, and Hand Holding: Selecting the best mobile hardware for Your Corporate Needs.
DataSplice provides mobile integration for facilities maintenance, field service and other Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as MRO MAXIMO®. The main focus of the 7 year old tech company is full service integration, providing hardware, software, integration and training in one package.

The demo center is contained in an 18-wheel tractor trailer that expands to 24 feet wide by 100 feet long. Specifically designed to support a variety of uses – from intimate product demos and walk-through tours to lectures and meetings – the center enables partners such as DataSplice to educate their customers and prospects on enterprise mobility solutions and industry trends.

The event will focus on reasons to integrate mobile data collection into the daily work flow. Using mobile devices, RFID and wireless infrastructure to address the ever-growing demand for global supply chain management, visitors will learn how to improve data capture, inventory turns and warehouse productivity, as well as reduce human error.

“18 Wheels of Enterprise Mobility” will be parked at Dave and Buster’s, which is located at I-25 and Colorado Blvd, in Denver, Colorado. The event, which is September 28, 2006, will be open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.
