ICT GROUP Appoints Karen V. Batungbacal President Of ICT Asia-Pacific

be responsible for overseeing the Company's existing operations in the Philippines and Australia, as well as future expansion initiatives in other Asian countries.

Prior to joining ICT GROUP, Batungbacal most recently served as Chief Executive Officer for Source One Asia, where she was responsible for both its Philippines operation and international business development initiatives. Source One Asia is a joint venture of Source One and Customer Contact Centers (C-cubed), a company Batungbacal launched and founded, which had become one of the largest third party contact centers in the Philippines.

Batungbacal also previously served as regional manager for American President Lines in the U.S. and Asia, where she was responsible for its logistics, customer service and customer satisfaction/research divisions. She formerly held executive positions at Citibank and various companies of Benpres Holdings Corporation, a leading Philippines infrastructure and utilities conglomerate.

Batungbacal completed her undergraduate and graduate education in the U.S., having obtained a BS degree from the University of Notre Dame and an MA degree from Princeton University. She currently serves as president of the Contact Federation Philippines (CFP), which she co-founded in 2001, and is the umbrella organization for the contact center industry in the Philippines. Additionally, she previously served as president of the Customer Service Association of the Philippines (CSAP), which she also co-founded in 1997.
