Advanced Energy Research Names New Environmental Advisor

DATELINE: February 23, 2005, St. Petersburg, Florida – Advanced Energy Research Corporation today announced the appointment of Helmut Ziehe to the Technical Advisory Board of AERC. Mr. Ziehe is the Founder and Chairman of The Institute for Bau-Biologie and Ecology. “We expect Helmut’s background to be of great assistance in developing advanced ways to make TrueFuel the answer for more and more communities,” said John Lux, Advanced Energy’s President.

Mr. Ziehe is an architect and received his Dipl. Ing. degree from the Technical University of Berlin in 1964, and a post graduate degree in Tropical Architecture at the AA School of Architecture in London. He has worked and lived in a number of European countries, including Sweden, Denmark, Greece, and Great Britain, as well as in Central America and North Africa, before making his home in Clearwater, Florida.

His professional experience, gained both as an employee and as the owner of his own architectural firm, includes the planning of hospitals, hotels, and housing units for small communities, as well as small scale industrial developments. He has been involved with Bau-biologie since 1980, first as a student of Professor Anton Schneider in Germany, and later as the translator of the course into English, and founder of the International Institute for Bau-biologie and Ecology in England in 1984 and in the U.S.A. in 1987.

The International Institute for Bau-biologie™ and Ecology, Inc. (IBE), established in Clearwater, Florida in 1987, is a non-profit educational organization dedicated to bringing together the technical expertise, biological understanding and ecological sensitivity to create healthy homes and workplaces. IBE's main objective is to educate - specifically, to help people realize that homes and workplaces can be created to bring the benefits of both health and aesthetics into their living environments.
