Los Angeles, CA September 13, 2006 - Sweet Debbie's Organic Cupcakes, a Los Angeles-based bakery that sells organic cupcakes, cookies, brownies and muffins locally and nationwide, has just released a new line of organic granola. Boasting only 7 grams of fat and 6 grams of sugar per serving, Sweet Debbie's granola is sweetened with agave nectar - an all-natural, very low-glycemic-index sweetener which is absorbed very slowly into the bloodstream.

The new granola is available in three varieties, including Cranraisin, Antioxidant Blast (which contains the powerhouse fruits goji berries and blueberries) and Bowl of Cherries. Each blend includes organic walnuts, organic almonds, organic pumpkin seeds and unsweetened coconut.

"Our granola is toasted to perfection and is packed with protein, vitamins and free-radical fighting antioxidants," says Debbie Adler, CEO, Sweet Debbie's Organic Cupcakes. "Our customers get a delicious snack or cereal that also contains the highest level of nutrition."

The granola's dried fruit, such as the cranberries, raisins, blueberries, goji berries and cherries, add chewy texture and a source of fiber, vitamins C and A, calcium, iron, phosphorus and potassium to the mix.

Sweet Debbie's Organic Cupcakes sells organic desserts online and delivers for free all over Los Angeles County.
