One-a-day Artists Display Daily Paintings on New Website

Erie, CO September 18, 2006 – The Daily Painters Blog, launched this month, is the first site to display new work by multiple 'one-a-day' painters. The blog, http://dailypainters.blogspot.com, features new paintings every day by over 40 artists. The original paintings can be purchased directly from the artists, with prices starting under $100. Visitors to the Daily Painters Blog can also receive daily paintings by email, to see new work by their favorite painters, and discover new artists.

All of the participating artists maintain their own daily painting blogs, but until now there has not been a site where collectors can view all of the daily paintings in one place. Though some of the artists also sell through traditional galleries, they all have embraced blogging as a way to connect directly with their collectors. Collectors enjoy seeing the new daily works by their favorite artists, and they can purchase small original paintings at an affordable price. Many of the artists have been featured in USA Today, The New York Times, and Domino Magazine.

The Daily Painters Blog will feature an email list, so subscribers can receive new art in their inbox every morning. A Daily Painters Widget is also available, which allows bloggers and website publishers to display a rotating view of the latest paintings on their blog or website.

Artist Micah Condon created the Daily Painters Blog to provide a showcase for the works of popular daily painting artists. He also finds the blog to be a great source of inspiration as an artist. “The quality and variety of the art is very exciting,” says Micah. Micah's work was featured in the August 2006 issue of Domino Magazine.
