2TalkAbout gives consumers a voice

2TalkAbout.com is making its network un-moderated in response to consumer demand and in-keeping with its approach to give as much control and power over its communities to users. 2TalkAbout Consumer Experience Manager Hiren Surti explains “2TalkAbout gives consumers an independent place to publish their views on brands & products, and find out about the experiences of other users. We provide the environment, but we want our users to be in control of the Communities content & interactions”.

There will be safeguards with the new un-moderated approach. The network includes functionality that will allow any user to highlight abuses (e.g. foul language, racism), which 2TalkAbout will then remove.

2TalkAbout’s most popular community is 2TalkAbout Honda, which brings Honda customers and potential customers together to share experiences, discover new ideas and solve Honda related problems. The network also includes 2TalkAbout Mobile and is growing rapidly. In early September, 2TalkAbout Ford & 2TalkAbout Driving will go live. The Company estimates that by Autumn 2006 it will have a total of 8 live communities, including a mixture of topics, such as Driving, Mobile & Broadband, and leading brands like Honda, Ford & Vodafone.
