Triangle Bowling Kings & Queens meet twice a month to meet new people, practice their bowling technique, and cheer for each other.

Triangle Area, NC / September 18, 2006 - The third & 4th Saturday nights of each month are special nights for Triangle Area Bowling Kings & Queens - it's "Midnight Glow Bowling night," the night that avid and beginner bowlers from the Raleigh/RDU area come together to teach each other new bowling techniques, make new friends, and cheer for high scores, strikes and even gutter balls.

"We bowl during the midnight hours when the bowling alleys turn up the music and turns on LED club lights and black lights. This makes our group different than other bowling groups. I bring a basketful of LED toys/jewelry to give as prizes. When our members bowl their first strike or spare, they get to pick their prize and actually wear it. It's something we all really look forward to," Says April Bowerman, who coordinates the events.

"All skill levels and ages are welcome," says Bowerman, "We have some folks who have been bowling for years, and others who are just starting out. A couple of our members even blew off the dust from their old college balls and shoes to join our group. Everyone has something unique to contribute, and everyone is welcome." The group is open to anyone in the Triangle area, and is free to join.

The Triangle “Midnight Glow Bowling” group meets monthly in local bowling lanes. More information about the “Midnight Glow Bowling” group, including meeting times and locations, can be found at http://bowling.meetup.com/74/.
