The Music City Welcomes Newcomer JJ Heller

September 21, 2006 (PRLEAP.COM) Entertainment News
Nashville, TN - New Stone Table Records singer/songwriter JJ Heller and her husband Dave have left their hometown of Queen Creek, Ariz., for Nashville, Tenn. In true Southern tradition, "Music City" welcomed the couple with open arms, and the Hellers are now settling into their new home. The couple had fallen in love with Nashville earlier this year when JJ recorded her new album, Only Love Remains, at the city's famed Sputnik Sound studio. "We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Nashville and almost started saying, 'ya'll,' by the end of our trip," reflects Heller.

The pure, penetrating voice and lyrical talents of JJ Heller are brilliantly apparent on her new album effort Only Love Remains. The project, which is scheduled to release on Nov. 14, 2006 and distributed by TAG Artist Group, was helmed by Grammy-winning producer Mitch Dane (Jars of Clay, Bebo Norman). In addition to the formidable vocal and guitar skills of JJ and her husband Dave, the roster of players on this project includes a veritable Who's Who of Nashville's first call session players, including Bryan Sutton (Dixie Chicks, The Chieftains) on mandolin, guitar and banjo; David Henry (Over the Rhine) on cello; Ben Shive (Andrew Peterson) on piano; Andy Hubbard (Little Big Town, Fernando Ortega) on drums and Aaron Sands (Jars of Clay) on bass. Jeremy Casella (singer/songwriter) and Andrew Osenga (Caedmon's Call) join Heller on guitars
and backing vocals.
